Will you order "girly" drinks?

Ok I'm assuming your a guy and I guess I'm also assuming you're straight. You know the drinks I'm talking about. Usually served in family oriented restaurants and or more trendy bars. Those multi coloured rainbow concoctions. Usually having one or more pieces of fruit hanging off the side. I ordered a VERY mild version of one of these, a lemony margarita with slushy ice all throughout it, at red robin the other night. Great tasting drink! It occurred to me 1/2 way through my meal though that it wasn't the most manly drink on the menu. I'm usually the LAST person to care about such things but I have to admit that I would pause before ordering that rainbow coconut, pineapple, slushi mai tai with a cocktail umbrella on top. But I'd probably still get it if that's what I wanted.

Only "girly" drink I consume is Jungle Juice but you would never order it at restaurants or bars. Only at college parties ;)

Yeah those would count but under the milder examples I posted above. Maybe in the extreme category if it was garnished crazy.

I drink whatever the hell I feel like. My regular drink is my homemade limoncello, but I have no problems buying the stuff to make a good Sex on the Beach or anything else.

No but the stereotype is that these are "girly" drinks and usually woman and or gay men like to drink them. Like I said I drink them and I'm not gay. but that is the stereotype.

Loves me a good White Russian/Caucasian. Malibu and Vanilla Coke is great too (much better than standard Rum/Jack & Coke). Or just some straight Patrón... mmm... God it's been forever since I've had some really GOOD tequila.

The only time I'd order a "girly drink" is if I was sitting on a beach. Tropical drinks are for tropical occasions. Although I do drink stuff like Mike's occasionally... so I catch shit for drinking "bitch brew" every now and then. Fuck em. If they want to drink piss (Coors Light, Bud Light, etc, etc) they can be my guest. Same Alcohol content... but apparently enjoying things that taste like shit makes you a real man.

Edit: I just saw the OP put up a picture of an Amaretto Sour. One of my favorite drinks actually.

As long as it tastes good, I don't care. Usually the sweet drinks are the only ones that taste good.

Girly drinks suck. There is a choice between drinks brewed by masters and worked to perfection, and drinks where the point is to cover up the taste of liquor with sugary syrup. I choose the whiskey and beer.

Fruity drinks taste delicious, but I honestly have no preference. Who cares what other people think?

There are only a few scenarios where you should turn down a girly drink.

A) If you need to impress someone (a boss, a girl, etc.)
B) If you'd prefer a good beer (beer > fruity drink for most meals, and personally I'm not often in the mood for a sugary drink)
C) If you're in a biker bar

If your friends seriously have a problem with you buying a girly drink (beyond the standard necessary banter) then you need to get new friends.

Closest I'll have when I'm out is a Long Island Iced Tea. At home, margaritas and midori sour is about as 'girly' as I get.
