Will we see Color Coded Alerts once the elections start ??

Ever wonder why we don't see anymore color coded alert annoucements from the Whitehouse ? I have a feeling we are going to see more alert warnings once elections come our way.

Well, speaking of lights that never go out or change or anything, they eventually burn out soooo:

How many members of the Bush Admin. does it take to replace a light bulb?

3: One to attack and question the patriotism of anyone who asks questions about the light bulb.
4: One to blame the previous administration for the need of a new light bulb.
5: One to arrange the invasion of the country rumored to have a secret stockpile of light bulbs.
6: One to get together with Vice President Cheney and award a $1,000,000,000.00 no-bid contract to Halliburton Industries for supplying a light bulb.
7: One to arrange a photo-op session showing Dubya changing the light bulb, while dressed in a flight suit and wrapped in an American flag.

8: One to explain to Dubya how to talk about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing a country.

Yes, will we start seeing the terror level, beginning on Fox News channel. Then we will see the usual criticism of the "left wing" news medial for NOT flahing the terror level once every thirty seconds.
Followed by every news outlet showing the terror level, all day, all the time.

For those who don't know here are the terror alert colors and what they mean:

Green-Low.
Means Vote Democratic (you will never see the threat level at Green)

Blue-Guarded
Means terrorists want to turn your children gay and only Republicans can stop them.

Yellow-Elevated
Terrorists are probably already reading books at your local library. And only Republicans will stop them.

Orange-High
Terorists have taken over one of the two major politcal parties in the U.S. They plan on raising taxes, talking dirty on t.v. and allowing Americans to express their opinions freely. Hint-they are called Democrats.

Red-Severe
Immediately turn to your emergency information service, the Fox News Channel. Suspend all rational thinking and follow the instructions of Bill O'Reilly.

That I can agree 100+ % on!

I never paid attention to the damn thing and I would bet 99% of the US (aside from law enforcement) does the same thing.

If you watch Fox News, you will see they still put the alert level on their ticker at the bottom of the screen, trying to remind everyone we have to be scared. The whole system is stupid, because it will never go below yellow and probably never above orange, and really no one cares.
