Will USB 2.0 peripheral work with USB 1.1 ports?

Thinkin gof getting a USB 8-in-1 reader like this, but I don't have USB 2.0 ports, just 1.1. I don't really need the extra bandwidth, it's only for occasional usage. Will it work?
