Will Trump indict Obama to save the MAGA base?

It’s kind of hilarious how the ongoing Epstein saga has led Trump and his goons from trying to get everyone to forget about Obama (or at least forget about his accomplishments—which Trump has tried to undo—or forget what a functioning economy looks like) to accusing the ex-President of “treason”.

Perhaps someone else can do a better job of pointing out the actual “crime” here—from what I can gather, everything Gabbard has “revealed” has been public knowledge for quite a while. They have failed to to point out:
- How any of these investigations into Russian interference became public knowledge before the 2016 election (they didn’t)
- Or influenced the outcome of the election (they didn’t);
- When they lied about Russian interference not changing votes (the report on election integrity said no vote switching ever took place)
- Why Presidential immunity for any official acts taken as President wouldn’t apply to Obama vs. Trump (because he’s a black Democrat, obviously)

Despite all this, it seems like MAGA is now begging Trump and Bondi to not just indict, but indict, convict, and jail in order to bring MAGA back to the fold. They’re literally telegraphing “throw Obama in jail and we’ll forget all about the Epstein thing!”

So what are the odds it happens? And will the republic stand for it if it does??

They should do it. Maybe this time they’ll pay attention to the information was found and they’ll see just how Russia was trying to help.

They won’t though because they have no case. So this will be dragged out till it’s no longer useful or doesn’t get any traction.

But thanks for echoing yet another Trump distraction🙄

I don't think Obama wants to be a martyr.
Or to count on us to kill enough MAGA to free him.
MAGA's rule is rather uncontested ATM.

No one wants to bet everything on us changing that.

Someone didn't think this through, or is just that desperate, probably a bit of both I suppose. Obama can just refer people to the Mueller Report, recent SCROTUS rulings, in between rounds of hearty laughter probably.

Some of the maga are going for it, but not all of them. And none of any other group - this is blatant 'oh look over there!' and seems like most people understand that. Child rape is hard to cover up, just ask the Catholic Church.

If America needs to be reminded there was no investigation into Trump, that Trump's people showed up in Russian surveillance because they were talking to surveilled Russians.... ok. Let's go over Dipshit Jr meeting the Russians again, let's go over repug campaign research being furnished to Oleg Deripaska. How about the Russian money funneled into campaigns via the NRA? I guess we can do that to Obama, sure.

I want to see Democrats put up a street fight. Obama brings diplomacy to a knife fight similar to Schumer’s strongly worded letter.

Not only is there is no case Obama can say let’s take this directly to SCOTUS because now this corrupt court will have to deal with the immunity they just created for Trump.

Give me a break. The ACA went far further than the 90's Heritage plan conservatives dreamed up to pretend like they had something to counter Democratic plans at that point. Is it always enough? No. But it is a heck of a lot better than the before ACA situation, and a heck of a lot better than Republican plans.

Politically speaking, no one is implementing a single payer system in the US anytime soon unless a lot of people across the board get real cool, real fast with making a lot less money, having the government tell you what drugs will and will not be covered in a much more restrictive sense than today, and millions of people potentially having to find new lines of work.

If we didn't have anything and we were coming up with a new system, sure, single payer is a great idea. But we have to work inside of reality and start from where we are today.

If you want single payer, you have to say you want to Bankrupt every billionaire on the planet to pay for it like who's gonna pay for the wall? Mexico.

You can't just rely on facts.. as people don't want facts, they want facts they agree with!

I don't make the rules.. I just observe what's going on.. look at how the big beautiful bill passed.. is it beautiful fuck no.. but they got it done with their constant lies and projection, didn't they?

We need to ^11ty billion that shit! And that's why dems are the most hated party in the country and Trump is loved twice as much!

Go out and ask people.. if you get 15% who likes dems.. it'll be 30% who like Trump. Dems are not willing to do what is necessary.. instead they just want to blame Trump.

You know how much people hated Wall Street bankers back then.. shoulda done, they will pay for it and raised hell about how they're to blame for it while we can't even get healthcare! People wanted them held to account and they didn't make a SINGLE person go to jail over the financial mess they created!

You gotta give Trump credit even though we hate him.. he's really sticking it to the people his base hates without mercy and at no regard for laws. Yes he's a fascist but he's their fascist.

I'd much rather have our fascist but I'm not sure AOC has the balls for it!

At this stage.. truth, justice, fairness being the american way is a pipe dream!

The idea that 60 senators were voting for single payer health care because Obama blamed bankers is a fantasy.
