Opteron 144 with a MSI Neo2-F?

Also is this a good combo?

If so will PQI PC3200 512 (2x256) With TCCD work good with the cpu and motherboard. I know later I will upgrade to 1GB or 2GB.

I called MSI and left a message. I just want to make sure before ordering the parts. I think I seen someone with an Op. 146 or 148 on this Mobo but I forgot where I saw it at.

I'm running that board, look below in my sig. Runs just fine, My board came with bios 1.A, and it showed the opteron right off in bios, tho 1.B and 1.C,(beta mod bios on the 1.c), OC better however.
I had the same apprehension when deciding on a board, but I am happy I got this 1 now.

😀 Umm Yes!
It's a Very smooth system, I am just waiting for my G.Skill ram to show tomm or Friday, to see how the board does at 1:1 ratio, as my BH5 can't get enough juice from the board to do what I want.
It's a very snappy system, and I havn't had Any problems with it, other than, when you install the Board drivers, don't use the Nforce3 Ide drivers, as my windows setup had a few issues with them.
Another thing is that it appears the NEO2-F and the Platinum use the same bios, go figure.

That should run fine 🙂 I think with TCCD tho, that in the "Cell" menu in bios, you will need to use the Drive strength of "weak" as the option, tho it may default to that. Also, when in the cell menu,Hit Shift/F2 then Alt/F3, and it will give you a few extra options in Cell menu, as well as 1 extra setting in Advanced chipset category, at least I think its called that.
The memory I have on the way is Tccd as well.
