will this work as a monitor extension cable?

i bought this one N82E16812105802 and it seems to work except the thumb screws are both male at the join.

i wanted to get this one because it has the words extension cable in the description but it's been out of stock.

i'll be using it for a crt using an analog connection and have no idea about this.
 
Not OOS, now. Get it and see. With premade cables, that's about all you can do. It will likely be fine. Both are extension cables...male to female = extension.
 
thanks for the reply...but what is OOS.

i have been using it for a few hours and seems to work fine.

i guess i could call newegg and ask what is the difference with the one called ...monitor extension
