I can't see how were not creating more enemies. Put it this way.. if you had a brother, father, mother or sister who was killed by American forces, would you really welcome American troops. Not me... I would want to kill as many Americans as possible, because the only thing on my mind would be revenge.

So put yourself in the Iraqi citizen's shoes. Would you welcome America eventhough your family got wasted by an American missle?

There has been and extremly small amount of Iraqi civilian casulaties...

They also know we are there for Sadaam and to help them become free..

Why do you see pictures of Iraqis kissing the marines and what not... ?

Its about to time we set an example that this will not be tolerated... So no, i don't believe this will create more terrorists..

Yes I would welcome them. At least now I have a chance to Live my life how I chose.

This will not create more terrorists.

Not in Iraq. Then again, there weren't any terrorist attacks coming from Iraq anyway, so the number isn't going to go down either.

In the other countries where there was already a lot of hate for America, this war has made them madder and helped to create more anti-America fervor. I'm sure more people are signing up with the groups that want to take America down. On the other hand, if we hadn't attacked Iraq, it's not like they would have loved us instead.

well they now have one less place to train and hide, and one less govt willing to fund or arm them....

Of course. They wanted to destroy us when we weren't particularly bothering anybody, I can't image our invading a Muslim nation makes them feel good.

Let's look at the corollary to your argument. Let's say your an Iraqi and your child, mother, father was raped and killed by Saddam's thugs. The americans came in and finally gave Saddam and his henchman what they deserve. Aren't you going to be happy that they are gone?

I think you can find many more people in Iraq who have friends/relatives etc who were killed by Saddam than people who were accidentally killed through collateral damage from coalition troops.....

Weren't we?
Look back our double standard foreign policies (especially in the Middle East). Then you will see why they hate us.

No, the problem is you cant refute that fact, so you attack my intellect because of a lack of your own.

Ever think this might happen? At least it matches up with the images you see of Iraqi citizens who seem nothing short of estatic we are removing Saddam..

Yes I agree, but for the most part we weren't blowing stuff up over there until recently.

Why did we HATE the Russians? Do you even understand the concept of a "common enemy" for the people? What better way to deflect criticism that to blame someone elses for all your troubles...

No, no, no, no~ it's different. We are not just a "common enemy" made by their governments, but we ARE an actual enemy because we have been helping Irsael that has been oppressing Palestinians with the weapons that we supplied for them.
In addition, we've helped their pro-America dictators or monarchies to hold their power for our profits (OIL!!).

OMG...Israel was attacked by 7 Arab nations within hours of it's foundation...and has been through a couple such wars since. It's intolerance on the part of the Arab nations that has led to the current situation. Without aid from the US, Israel would have suffered total genocide by now.

Do you really think there has been extremly small amout of Iraqi civilian casualties?

Civilians reported killed in Iraq by US-led military action during 2003

Yeah~ They are much much smaller than Vietnam war's. So Iraqi civilians will embrace us as liberators even though we killed their parents, children, and brothers and sisvers.
I'm moved to tears.

One, have you bothered checking on any of those sources? I have. Many are coming from random quotes from unknown people in Iraq. Not the most reliable information. Two, do you have any idea how many civilians Saddam has killed? Try looking those estimates up.

I'm not saying that.
I'm talking about the conflicts between Israel and Palestine.
We should've been there as a mediator between them, not as a one side supporter.
