will this video card fit in my system

i wanted to upgrade my video card. i thought about getting this one.

evga 8800 gts

will this be compatible with my current system? also, what's a good power supply?

i thought about getting the corsair 620 HX but not sure it the cables are long enough for my case.

There should be no problem in your case. As for the PSU I don't have any experience with Corsair units, however try posting the question in the Power Supply forum.

That means he wants to know if it will work with his current setup. The PSU inquiry is a side thought and revolves arround his questions on the video card.

I would probably upgrade the PSU first as that 500 watt jobbie is almost borderline on the requirements for the card as is.

thanks guys. hopefully my existing system will handle the new hardware well. i realize that AMD X2 has become outdated but i still should be able to enjoy the newer games without too much of a performance penalty. wouldn't you say?
