Will this slow down my system?

I have a Dell Dimension 1100 that uses Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for it's video...

I'd like to have TV out capability with this machine, so I'm thinking about replacing the video card. Thing is, this thing doesn't have a PCI-e or AGP slot, so I'm stuck with PCI.

I've searched around a bit and found that the following cards are PCI and support second display / TV out:

ATI Radeon 9250 128MB
ATI Radeon 9200 128MB
Geforce FX5500

Would using these cards result in even slower performance than the already slow integrated video? Is there a USB device that can give me second display tv out instead?

Thanks!

There's no way they will be slower then your intergrated "extreme" (lol) graphics. But, while those cards probably won't blow your socks off in terms of gpu power, they will be significantly better then onboard graphics your currently using.

That's what I was hoping for 🙂 It's just a young kids computer - mainly edu games and some web flasg games, so it's adequate for now... just need to output dvd/etc to the Tv in that room too.

btw - is there a better, old PCI card with TV out that the 9250 or 9200? I'm assuming 9250 > 9200, right?
