Ok the PSU is a Raidmax 420W, The voltages are... +3.3V/26A, +5V/32A, +12V/13A, -5V/0.5A, -12V/0.8A, +5Vsb/2A.

The system is a 1.7 Ghz P4
2x 256 SDRAM
No optical drives
1 Hard drive (7200 rpm)
Pny 6800
1 case fan

It should power it, but I [personally] wouldn't trust it for long. What kind of system are you building with no optical drive?

Ya Im running my setup on the Raidmax 420watt psu that came with my case. No stability issues, might be limiting my overclock but no stability problems. I also have a dvd rom, cdrw drive, and like 7 case fans.

Yeah I considered that Raidmax Case/PSU combo, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. The reviews said the case was flimsy and damaged easily, and the PSU was overrated to boot. With only 13A on the 12V rail, that's kind of scary.

So, I went with a CoolerMaster/Enermax setup.

As for your system, the only things really on the 12v is the HDD and the fan, so you should be ok, just don't expect to add more fans or drives....

The 6800 and P4 both run off the 12v.

off topic, but you should seriously think about upgrading your other parts before spending that much on a video card. For one thing, you're on SD RAM, and the 1.7GHz Pentium 4's were not very good processors. the high end P3's were better.

Jeez! Why is the 12V line on this "420 watt" PSU rated lower than the average 300 watt supply?

Maybe because it's only $29.00? (Newegg.)
