here are its specs
Abit BP6 mobo
Dual celeron 466's (gonna try andf get 500+ mhz)
288 megs of ram (2 128's and a 32)
Radeon 64 meg VIVO

think can run allied assualt at 800x 600? (maybe even higher)

Probably. I have a 500 mhz p3 machine with a Radeon LE, and it could play every level with the exception of the Sniper Town level. There, I got probably in the low single digits, no matter how low the settings were at. Ijust cheated to skip that level and played on.

Individually the parts look like they should, but the only problem I see is that I personally have a radeon64 ddr VIVO, and it runs much, much faster on faster processor systems then on lower ones. Being a game, I really doubt that AA can utilize the dual celery you've got, so it might run like a dog.

My Celeron300a@450 + Geforce3 ti 200 runs it, but it's choppy. Most other games are smoother (like RTCW).

Just to utilize your dual processor setup, you're gonna have to enable a console command in MOHAA. I believe the command is "r_smp 0/1". However, you will need an operating system that's capable of multithreading (Win2k, WinXP should do it). You'll also need video card drivers that can work side by side with a dual processor or else instability may occur. I know the Detonator Drivers work with the r_smp command in Q3 normally. Not sure about ATI drivers but you can always give it a shot.

alright so if its in smp itll run fine but if i cant get smp itll run like crap. alright cool. Im also looking to play ghost recon too.

I did not say that. If SMP works properly, MOHAA will run better than if it wasn't in SMP mode. However, that DOESN'T mean it won't run like a dog. Just forewarning you not to have ultra high hopes for SMP.

Oh ya, Ghost Recon ran great on my old setup (AMD 850, Win98, 512mb PC133, GF2). Just make sure you turn down the detail for the trees. The surrounding trees in Ghost Recon REALLY kill FPS.

You oughta be able to play AA alright. I've got a friend who played it using a Voodoo 3 3000 and a P3 500, but he had to turn every detail down, and it still got like 25fps. His computer's got some probs though...

As for Ghost Recon, it should run a little faster than AA, but you'll need to turn tree details down and shadows off.

alright thanx. im probably gonna look at getting my ecs k7s5a mobo rma'ed and then putting in a 1.2 duron so i can run it at a little higher than 800x600
