anyone know?

is lap top memory generic size? is it like sdram pc133 can fit in the same slot as pc100 or pc150? or is it like SD to RD to DDR different?

Laptops are a little more picky about memory. But assuming that your memory is PC100 CAS2 and that I chose the right ThinkPad 390 at Crucial, then that memory should work fine. Even if that memory is CAS3, it should work, but don't be suprised if you get errors or lockups. Laptop memory can be run out of spec sometimes. Heck, I had PC66 CAS2 memory running at 80Mhz CAS2, course for the sake of my data I put PC100 memory in it.
