Ever since I replaced the factory radio with an after market unit from Pionner, the radio signal isn't as clear as the factory unit. My car is one of those with the radio antenna built into the rear windshield. I plugged in a real radio antenna (the telescoping type) and the signal was much better. To make this a permanent solution, I would have to drill holes, mount the antenna from the outside and bring in the wire, a solution I'm not too thrill because the car is still new, 2002. I foundthis while browsing Crutchfield. Anybody has any experience with this? Any other suggestions?
