YS TECH 80X25mm
47cfm
37dba
3300rpm
3.12 watts

I really want to use it for my cpu on my sk6, but I do want rpm sensing so I don't want to connect it to 4 pin molex. Don't want to kill the 3pin header either.

All depends on what motherboard you have. Most current ones have no problems with 4-5 watt fans. Older boards you really don't want to go over 3.

I have an Epox 8k7a. Does the 4 to 5 watt restriction apply to each motherboard header or all of them total?

SVC sells a 3 to 4 pin adapter with separate tach if you want to be completely sure. Its only 1.43 shipped.

You could run the power from a 4 pin and leave the tach wire on the 3pin and connect that to the motherboard by itself.
