1.2ghz T-Bird (got a big fan for it)
ABIT KT7A-Raid mobo
IBM XGP 75 series 45gig 7200rpm ata 100 HD
eVGA 64meg geforce2 ultra vid card
16x DVD rom
sblive value sound card
256pc133 ram
10x4x32CDRW

What do you think? Do i have all the fast stuff on it to keep up with each other? I hope so. I cant wait till i get it. thanks for the input!!

get good ram.. cas 2 stuff. crucial or something.. I got the generic stuff and I can only run it as cas 3 @ 133 mhz.. I hope you aren't talking about one of the orbs from thermaltake for that 1.2... don't get those.. alpha's, fops, taisol are all better..

I dont know if its generic, if it is, then i will swap it out and get crucial, it so cheap right now, why not?? LOL

the fan is a fop, its good. i think this computer will run me really quick and finally get to get this old 400mhz to my mom..hehe

Depends on your reference point.
There are many other super fast computers out there. One example is the computer over at the US Department of Energy...... powered by several hundreds of P3-733 MHz.

Oh, nevermind. Your computer config is fast enough for gaming freaks like me.

Get a GlobalWin Fop-32 ,Or a Fop-38 if you can stand your pc sounding like a small Refridgerator😛

And yes you will have a FAST PC😀,check out my system below its similer and I have no complaints.

I don't know that looks like it would be real slow maybe you should give it to me just to get it out of your hair LOL
Just kidding hope it runs great for you

yeah, its a global winFOP32 fan that I got. I dont mind the sound, got a 12" 400 watt home theater sub hooked up anyway, sounds great for gaming!!

Actually I paid $1455 for it and that with shipping!! I think I got a good deal. I want to know if its pretty much top of the line right now, its my first fast computer, cause the one I have now was middle of the road 2 years ago, and I need a good fast computer for gaming. Glad I picked up a sweet rig, thanks for the info!!

u paid "only" that much for it, got a sub-par sound card, NO MONITOR, and a relatively crappy (hp i assume) cd-rw...

but everything else is top of the line...at least....i complain too much perhaps - though if i was to spedn so much on a system i'd want everything good, especialy for that money...

at least u won't be disappointed in its speed...

Sound dont really matter to me, its goes into my stereo as it is that has a 12" sub on it. The CDRW i didnt buy with it, i have that in my existing computer, yes, its an HP, but I got it from a friend that works at HP. The monitor i got was a 17" Sony flatscreen, i wanted sony cause they rule, and i love the picture they produce. I wont be worried at all with the performance, considering right now i have a celeron 400 with a 8gig 5400rpm hd and not even sure what kind of mobo, 128ram, pc128bit sound card, it sucks (its a gateway). So i went with something better this time. I didnt think that was bad buy considering what Gateway and Dell and the others are running. I need the speed though for gaming, cause the newest installment to my favorite game came out and i cant even run it on my computer. so i needed the new one to boot!
