Will this composite cable work with my iphone4s?

Hi all
I want to get audio/video out of my 4s into our car audio/video system that accepts 3 composite RCA jacks. I saw this cheap adapter on eBay:

However, a google search showed confusion about ios7 last month may have ruined video out for most purposes?
Any idea if I can get audio video out?

Yeah, wish I had one to try out. But, for $7, I'd probably be willing to roll the dice.

Don't waste your time. The eBay ad doesn't say anything about iOS 7. If it iOS 7 isn't mentioned, it's likely it won't work with iOS 7.

Any info on if,what, and why ios7 nerfed/ruined? I've never used video out before. I assume audio out works on all aspects. What video is sure to work, and how exactly?

Not sure, but I know from my previous iOS days, that 3rd party unsupported eBay TV out cables would sometimes get toasted with new versions of the OS. And I don't just mean like iOS 4 to iOS 5. I mean like point updates.

See above. I suspect what they do is reverse engineer it, get it to work, and then sell it. And then Apple changes something and it stops working properly.

I've had a similar problem with a Sigma lens as well. Buy a different newer Canon EOS camera and suddenly my Sigma lens is a brick, even though my ancient EOS lenses continue to work perfectly.

$5 cables from China are kind of like buying fruit: you don't take it back if it's no good. I'd rather just buy something that works the first time. But the Apple forums make it sound like even the official composite cables don't work as of last month?
