Will these components work together?

yes, the cpu and the motherboard is great, however im not sure about the memory.... 1.65 volts might not be supported by the motherboard im assuming, anyway i'd say look for a 1.5 volts 2x4 gb 1600 mhz ram...
 
I remembered an Intel rep saying that he would check the issue of 1.65v because Intel docs were inconsistent about what was supported. Haven't heard anything since about this issue so 1.5v is better.
 
Technically yes, however as Prey mentioned, you won't be able to overclock that cpu with that motherboard.

You should buy either a Z68 or Z75/Z77 motherboard to go with that processor if you want to take advantage of all it's features. Or else save some bucks and drop down to a locked processor.
 
I did have 1.65 mem previously with my P67, but going to 1.5v helped with overclock etc and even smoothness to a slight extent perhaps. 1.65v may work, but I would go with 1.5v regardless.

Yeah OP, I was just going to ask the same. Are you one of those who wants the best CPU in the market but couldn't care less if the motherboard is nothing more than a cardboard? Don't get me wrong, the board you chose is good but I don't like the idea of limiting the OC potential of the CPU on a board that is OC locked.

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB

I placed a Core i5 2500K instead as depending on what you do with your rig, you could do just as well without an additional 4 virtual cores.
