Will There Ever Be Star Wars SEQUELS Made?

Think There ever will be?

I think it's a definite possibility for a couple reasons.

1. There's money to be made.

2. The actors would be willing. Harrison hasn't made a good movie since The Fugitive, which is almost 15 years ago!!! And Mark Hamill will give HJ's for crack, so we know he'd be up. They could put Carrie Fisher on Trim Spa.

3. Lucas is an egomaniac. He's getting older, but he knows the prequels could have been more and that a lot of fans were dissapointed. He'll never admit it publicly, but deep down he knows.

4. Did I mention there's money to be made?

I'd love to see the Thrawn series made into movie.

I think he might simply because of the paycheck. However, I don't think it's very likely, time is starting to get a bit short for the orignal crew to be able to do proper timelines, and I hope Lucas is done pissing off his fans. I'd be happier if they didn't. There's so much that goes on in the expanded universe after the original trilogy that it's not even funny.

I couldn't stand it if Lucas actually directed another movie again. Star Wars is so much better if he just sits down and scripts it out then lets someone else run with it.

Now this I'd dig.

But Ford/Fisher/Hammil are still gonna end up being involved if they use the orignal cast. Although, they'd be too old for the roles, and seeing different people play those orignal characters would be well, just wrong.

Star Wars nerds may hate the prequels, but they fared very well at the box office. Withstanding the collapse of civilization as we know it, SOMEDAY there will be a sequel.
