Will there ever be a hack to turn XBOX1 or PS4 into TV DVR?

I was going to build a HTPC, or anything to return Comcast their DVR to them, then I read the XBOX1 has a TV tuner but that the only content it will record is your game footage (yeah, I want 200gb of that). I thought it would be perfect if it coulad act as an HD tuner and DVR but no?

Is it likely someone will hack the XBOX or PS4 so they can just act as a straight DVR?
 
yes, we all already know about a hack for consoles that aren't out yet that will allow it to have features that aren't there out of the gate.
 
XBOX 1 does not have a TV tuner. And it only records game footage at 720p. Then again, maybe it only allows games at 720p.....

If you want to return the Comcast DVR, what you need is an XBOX 360 -- X-Bone will not work!, and a TV tuner for your Windows 7 PC to stream from media center.

Also, 500GB doesn't go very far recording HDTV.
