I don't think there will be a "A" version of KT333. I believe VIA dropped it in favor of the KT400. I don't
believe the "A" version of the KT333 chipset was to have any northbridge changed. I think was just
going to increase the speed of the V-Link between the north and south bridges and add USB 2.0
support to the south bridge. KT400 is due out in a couple weeks. NForce 2 (which also supports DDR400)
is due out this week.
Probably go straight to the KT400. I haven't heard anything about a KT333A and have seen quite a few KT400 boards from MSI, Gigabyte, etc. 😀 -- mrcodedude
That's what I thought. I looked around on VIA's site and saw no reference at all to a KT333a chipset. It would be silly to release it at this stage in the game anyway.
