will there be a galaxy note 3? re samsung mega

has this new mega line killed the note series? i've heard differing opinions and that there will be a note 3 with flexi screen at end of year - but only with a 720p screen. if that's true then it won't be an upgrade

i dont know why anyone would want a flexible screen--so instead of cracking your screen will tear every time you put a pen or keys in your pocket?

mega has low resolution screens, i dont think its meant to replace note. note good, mega bad, got it?

a flexi screen should be scratch resistant still but just wont break if you drop it.

still, for me to upgrade from note 2 to 3 it would ahve to be a higher res screen. seems pointless otherwise

No. That makes no sense anyway. Why would a midrange phone kill the company's absolute top-of-the-line device?

Yeah the Mega are a mid-range device aimed at people who want a note-like device at a cheaper price point.

I believe the Note 3 is said to be announced at the same conference it was last year in Berlin? Full expectations for the newest Exynos processor, 1080p AMOLED screen, the same packaging tweaks of the S4, newest S-Pen, etc. While I'd like a new design/material choice, I think it's hugely likely it'll follow the S4.

im in the UK but was concerned in case the mega line replaced it. good to hear it's not likely.

what's the most likely size then? 6.3 or the 6.9" variant?

It will probably be the same as the S4 - same or smaller chassis, slightly bigger 1080p screen.
