70% of GQP believe the Big Lie.

That's roughly 33% of Americans who believe the Big Lie AND are deep in the GQP cult, devoid of reality itself. The other 30% of GQPers are willing to go along just to win.

Republicans are 44% of the electorate.

Now, understand that the Nazis NEVER had more than 43-44% support in Germany before taking power.

Leena here may seem extreme... but not as extreme as they may seem to be.

We are in a VERY FUCKING dangerous time in American history. Make no mistake.

They will stand because who’s going to throw them out? Sure Garland will investigate them but then what?

Hard to tell. Depends how much Trump court packing has damaged our judicial system.
Oh, and these cases take years.

Garland noted 14 states that have passed new restrictions against Americans’ right to vote, as well as those jurisdictions that, “based off of disinformation, have utilized abnormal post-election audit methodologies” he said could denigrate American confidence in the electoral process.

“The Civil Rights division has already sent a letter expressing its concern that one of those audits may violate provisions of the Civil Rights Act that require election officials to safeguard federal election records; the very same provisions that form the original basis for the Department’s 1960 investigation in the Lynd case,” Garland said. “The division also expressed concern that the audit may violate a provision of the Voting Rights Act that bars intimidation of voters.”

Assholzona, are you listening?

Repub leadership is throwing tons of shit against the wall hoping some of it will stick. Given the major brain-fucking they've done on their followers over the years along with McConnell exploiting Trump's tenure in regard to his/their court packing efforts it certainly seems like they've got their act together toward making at least some of their restrictive demographically targeted voting laws stand up to any tests they will be subjected to.

It's now up to the Dems at the grassroots level to take the Repub's efforts at successfully establishing themselves as a fascist minority party in control of the nation very seriously and make every effort to protect the democracy our Constitution and BOR spelled out in its entirety of which is under serious attack by the Repubs.

What with Manchin apparently taking the Repub's side on many of Biden's key policy issues, for now there appears to be little that the Dems can do toward making an effective effort at denying the Repub's plans to cheat themselves into power by corrupting the principles of free and fair elections into their favor.

Yes they will and you'll descend into the scary version of "A Handsmaids Tale."
