Will the Hobbit look better than a regular bluray?

With the new 48fps shooting of the Hobbit I was wondering if home users will see any advantage when they convert it to a regular bluray?

I know that a bluray ripped down to a dvd size still looks better than a regular dvd so I was wondering if this would apply to 48fps brought down to 24fps?

Thanks to the Blu Ray standard the 48fps won't matter- the disk will be 24fps. There will be no quality improvement in the 24fps mode. The only way to simulate the 48fps with the Blu Ray will have is to turn on interpolation (the Soap Opera Effect) on your 120Hz TV.
