Will the clear acrylic fronts ever go away?

It seems there are more and more cases with, in my opinion, unnecesary pieces of acrylic. Obviously this is amatter of taste...
I keep seeing new cases and thinking this case would be great without the acrylic. Some are nice aluminum cases that without the plasticky thing would be awesome.

Also, I think that leaving the novelty look aside, the plastic will get scratched and look pretty bad with time.

I can understand the reason for an acrylic window... but do you guys like the acrylic fronts, or tolerate them or just avoid them like me?

And I will not even get into the number of cases that have blue light stripes on the front!

I'm with you - pointless garnish on otherwise classy aluminum designs. Usually the same case is available without the acrylic front at least. But yeah - why bother?

many coolermaster owners dont mind, there is no reason for the acrylic to be scratched if you know how to maintain a computer

I have a Cooler Master and I don't mind, but that's why I bought a Cooler Master instead of a less expensive aluminum case. The acrylic fronts look rather ugly, IMO.
