will the apple store make me a deal?

i am thinking on buying a macbook pro and am interested to know if the apple people just sell or would they say heres a ipod nano for spending 2800 to make a sale?

i do plan on the extended warranty. i just wish we had no sales tax cause now i have to drive to oregon

No way. Find someone who works for Apple (like I have), and you get 15% off most everything, and sometimes 25% on EPP. BOOM! I haven't purchased anything in a long time, but might have to get a Macbook one of these days.

Macs are selling well.

They don't need to cut you a deal because they will be able ot sell it anyway.

More power to you if you can talk them down, but don't count on it.
