Hi,
my electric company got my motherboard dead and left me with a 3400g and two 16GB 2666MHz sticks. I live in Brazil and here the options of B450 are not that great and not have good prices. So I began to look at Ryzen 5600g and would like to know if that would be a good move to me, as it is newer and B550 there are more options here. I know I will spend a bit more, but at least woul be a newer rig.
This is my desktop box, I now run an old i5 NUC in the meantime. So there is not much hurry, but some.
I am a casual gamer, some light games from Steam and HON (who will be dead soon). If the gpu has a better performance, it may make me go that way. Just must plan on how to sell my 3400g.
I have another 3400g box that acts as oVirt node here, I have some VM's running some services of mine here (I work on IT).
My main goal here is to know if would be to me a good move to sell (usually cheap) my 3400g to buy a 5600g on good discount. How better it is GPU and CPU wise.
I looked for reviews on the web, but just found some comparisons, not a full benchmark review. If its worth to pay the extra buck here to upgrade.
thanks,
matheus
