Apparently microsoft released intellipoint 4.9 with the first versions of this mouse, and it worked under SP1. Unfortunately, they never made it available on their site, and it was only on cd. Version 5.0 doesn't even mention the bluetooth version of this mouse.

I'll drop $5 via paypal to the first person to hook me up with working 4.9 drivers.

I have this at work. Unfortunately, I'm at home. I'm going to work either tomorrow or Sunday, so when I do, I'll try to find it for you. PM me if you don't hear from me by Sunday and you still haven't found it.
 
Any chance you can try SP2 and then just disable the security fixes it adds... maybe more trouble than it's worth, maybe not. But, another option...
