Will pay $10/hour this week for some internet work a 5 year old could do

First off, mods I am not some business, I have a very repetitive task that is just too much for one person to do so I figure some ANandtechers might want a bit of cash for helping me out.

Basically, I need several people to do this - I give you a list of pages on a website - you go to a website. Then, from there you open several links in new windows. You then save each page as a text file. Then, you move on to the next site.

I'm estimating that there are about 8,000 pages that I need to be saved. If you use a macro which goes to File->Save As, and sets it on Text File (i can provide this macro), I estimate that you can save between 400-500 pages an hour on a good internet connection.

So if you've got an hour or two to spare today and want to help out, just PM me for details only if you're interested. I'll pay w/ paypal.

If I'm getting paid the hour, why would I want a macro to speed up the task? I'm doing it the SLOOOOW way. 😀
 
Why don't you just write the macro yourself?

If you offer per hour wages, expect to pay over 10bucks.

Or change the post to $10 for the job.

dont ask me to elaborate though... cause i only used one once before.... messed up the whole thing.. but it does what you want...

I may be misunderstanding something here... i just thought he wanted the actual html file stripped of code and saved as plain text. So in that case a mass renamer wouldn't work.
