Will not detect internet or networkcard

After putting together this new machine below as a server/Lan Rig I have been having a few problems with the internet. I am running on one of my machines on the internet through a router connected to the cable modem. The new machine wont connect to the internet. I did the Network Wizard on both machines restarted them ect, ect. When I go to network connections all it says is 1394 connection. And in the device manager there is no network device.

Could my integrated LAN be defective? I probably will try a separate card.

Is the integrated NIC enabled in the BIOS? It should show up in the POST messages if it is working.

Are there any devices that are not showing up as installed? Try a different nic, also make sure it is enabled in the bios.

Both of them are enabled but still not showing up in device manager, though when connected to my router they show up as connected.

show connected where? Link lights?

In Device Manager, do you have any yellow ! ? or red X's?

check the BIOS and tell us what setting there are related to the onboard lan.

It shows link lights on router,

In the device manager and under network adapters only a 1394 Adapter sits.
In other devices there are two Ethernet Controllers that have yellow question marks.

In bios the only options for lan are in the intergrated section

Nvidia (Auto)
3com (auto)

You need to install the driver for your built in NIC. You should have a cd that came with your motherboard. Look on that for your driver or get the latest one from the motherboard manf. website.

Anyone have an Idea of what drivers for the Intergraded NIC I need? I downloaded some they ran in DOS but had no affect.

After playing around with some drivers I got from a 3rd party site, I installed them and got them to work!
