Will my PSU get enough airflow in this orientation? (Pics)

The PSU is a Enermax Revolution and the case is a Silverstone TJ10. Ideally I would like to mount the PSU with the fan facing down. This should keep things a little quieter and also provide it with air from just outside the case. However, the mesh vent at the bottom (which I removed) is a little narrow and not all of the fan is directly open to the vent. The heatsinks will get air but there is other stuff that might not get enough? What do you guys think? Am I just asking for a shortened lifetime?

You'll be fine. For better results I'd suggest placing the case on a hard surface instead of carpet - less chance of fuzz/dust intake and you'll get more clearance for airflow.

Thanks for the response. I can't get it off the carpet but I could make some kind of risers for it. Anybody else agree that this orientation is going to be fine?
