I have a PIII 650 @ 820 in my Soyo 6BA+III (same as IV except no ATA66) ,runs fine ,though I have the occasional hard boot problems ,(nothing happens!) ,it's OK after a reset though.
And yes the info is hard to find at Soyo's site ,but it is there.I'll see if I can find it..........
hmm ,it used to say 'coppermine support added' in the 6BA family bios list ,but the bios that was added to is so old its gone!

here & choose 6BA family & select cpu support.
You will only see the 100MHz cpu's listed because that is all that is offically supported.
BTW you would be better off getting a 100 MHz FSB cpu & overclocking it ,cheaper to start with (eg a PIII 700 )& you will be able to hit a higher speed
