You should have gotten Beats or Bose. Only those two are capable of making someone cool. It has to be the really huge ones too. Bonus points for using them at work and ignoring the phone and everyone around you because you have them on and can't hear anything.
What u talkin about, that's the best part of being at work!

*shrug* I use a pair of Denon D600s at work with an AudioQuest DragonFly (crappy work provided laptop), but people still seem to not want to leave me alone :|

On amps .... for the price... I do not for a second believe that Beats or Bose are comparable to the others.

I tried on $200 Beats once. My opinion is that they are worth $30-$40. I can not believe how over priced these PoS headphones are. What are the margins on them? 95%?

Lmao. So you tried them on once...one time...for like what 30 seconds? And someone is supposed to put what value on your opinion?
However I've owned all my mentioned HP's for quite some time now, ranging from many devices, situations, environments and music/movies ranging from Smooth Jazz to Death Metal and Drama's to Action flicks...and games for the Astromo's...let's not forget all the other reviews out there, they rate as well as most others on average and yes they are pricey. The have's and have nots.

If you want cheap and high quality, stay away from all mainstream brands. The $800 Sennhieser's are known to only cost the company $58 to produce minus packaging.

what model are you talking about? HD700's? or some of their high end iems?

I'm fairly confident you're not talking about HD800's as those have a higher msrp than $800 and definitely cost much more than $58 to produce.

Isn't that Beethoven's only opera?

...or the password to a creepy super-secret orgy club for the world's 0.003%?

:hmm:

LOL holy shit, X2's are legit as hell haha. Didn't expect that for $300 lol. Just tried them right now and damn. Absolutely clear and bass thumps clean and hard but doesn't drown anything out. Vocals are super nice. Hard to beat without spending $500-$1000 on planars IMO.

how are they for streaming 3D porn?

cause like, I have this friend that wants to know.
