Will my motherboard still work? It's been sitting here for years collecting dust.

It's been sitting on the side of my desk, on top of magazines. There have been numerous things thrown on top; caps, bags, boxes, etc. But it has NEVER been wet. I was working when i pulled it 2-3 years ago. Do you think it'll work now?
 
Damn, i was hoping for better odds. My cousin decided to stay over with us again, and she's notorious for sitting on MY COMPUTER, writing emails for hours on straight. I HATE THAT. I hate it just enough to spend enough cash to build a second computer for her :disgust:
 
Better odds? It will either work or not,the only way to find out is to try it,nobody here can tell you for sure.

There is only way to tell and that is to plug it onto a PS with the cpu and a speaker, turn it on and see if it beeps. The CMOS bat may have gone dead but you can get one at radio shack.
