Will my Assasin be viable in PvP?

I played Diablo II single player way back when, but now that there's something of a revival going I'm looking at multiplayer, and PvP looks fun.

Basically I'm looking to max out Dragon Flight, Claw Mastery, Mind Blast, and Tiger Strike, while pouring mucho points into Dexterity to boost my attack rating. Remaining points will probably go into weapon block or fade.

Overally strategy would be zip in with Dragon Flight, stun with Mind Blast, and have my way with Tiger Strike. Should inflict massive damage if I find the right claws.

IMO, I don't think so.

People could 1-hit kill your Assassin before she even gets to touch them.

Amazon = guided arrow (or whatever the hell they use), Barbarian = whirlwind (or whatever), Druid = LOL (I honestly have no clue), Necromancer = hmm...bone wall + bone spirit/spear?, Paladin = charge, and Sorceress = spells

EDIT: Actually, I forgot all about mind blast. Forget what I said.

Do you mean dragon claw instead of tiger strike? Because all of the charge up skills for assassins are terrible in pvp.

With extremely good gear, you might kill a few weak enemies/low levels :(.

Dragon talon would be a better choice for a pvp melee assassin, but that's still not very good. WWsin's and their trapsin hybrids are the only good melee asssassin pvp build.

Dragon flight is pretty pointless when everyone else can teleport with enigma and not have to wait for the casting delay that flight has.

Maxing dex for AR is a bad idea.

Also, you need to mind blast before you do anything else, not after dragon flight.

Doesn't mind blast have a limited range? Also had no idea that dragon flight had a cast delay (just going off the battle.net skill descriptions). Even so, IMInexperiencedO it'd still be better than nothing. Also, even with a single charge Tiger Strike provides 4.8x damage.

What's the better method for increasing AR? I've got claw mastery, and the various skills will help for the duration of said skill, but beyond that...

Mind blast can even hit offscreen if you lock onto there name. You should see my mind blast only sin casting at 174 fcr, almost nobody touches her since they all get mind blast spammed 2 screens away .

In pvp, you won't have time to charge up and release your charge, you'll either be dead by then or they will have teleported away. Tiger strike simply isn't a very good skill either. For example, synergized charge gives about the same damage boost as a 3 charge tiger strike, but charge is an infinitely easier and faster way to deliver 1 extremely powerful blow. Same goes for impale, on paper it looks like great damage, but it's unusably slow in a duel.

Use angelic's ring/ammy if you need AR.

You'll die before you even get a hit in. If you don't die to a zon, you'll die to a super sorc who uses fireball or lighting.
