Will my 500W PSU power this system?

I have an Antec Earthwatts 500W PSU.

So far, it powers my 3750K, a Radeon 7870 Tahiti LE GPU, 6x 7,200 HDDs, 1x SSD and 2x USB HDDs.

It runs fine.

If I introduce my old GeForce 560 into the mix (in addition to the 7870 Tahiti LE), will my PSU cope?

No. It has a rating of 408W on the +12V, and this is further divided into two +12V rails with a capacity of 22A / 264W each. The +12V rating itself is a bit too weak to run the PC with a 560 added in. In addition, you would have to use a molex-PCIe adapter to power the GTX560, and doing that is not advisable in a unit with multiple +12V rails.

I'd recommend getting a 650W unit with four PCIe connectors, or selling both the 7870 and 560, and upgrading to a 760 or 770.

Nicely spotted, regarding my PSU.

Tar for the reply :)
