Well, everything went super smoothly...took way longer to backup my data than it did to do a fresh re-install. After installing my mobo/video, sound, and NIC drivers, Vista only had two things in Windows Update: Malicious Software Removal Tool - March 2008 and the Windows Defender update....that's it.
I can't wait until Windows XP SP3 hits...going to re-install my brothers box after slipstreaming that. Be interesting to see how far the 100+ updates gets reduced by.
EDIT: Was nice to enable AHCI in my BIOS, install Vista with no problems, install the ATI 8.3 drivers, and that's it....not crazy install one way, install another driver, etc etc.
