Question Will mixing these 2 memory types hinder my system?

They are different voltages.

They might play well together at the lower speed, or they might not. :D

Yeah. Extra voltage probably for the rgb. Just don't want to blow up. I'll probably just replace with the corsair.

Well, I was bored last night and popped the other 2 in another channel and all is working just fine. Encoded a few BR discs, played a few demanding games and no issues so far. System BIOS says 1.2v on the mem. May have to tweak that but its stable at least.

Mixing RAM like that will often limit your maximum memory speed or overclock. Usually to the lowest speed that all the RAM has in common.

Used to be, some motherboards gave you an additional performance penalty for having four slots populated. Dunno if that's still a thing.

But unless you're obsessively benchmarking things, you'll never notice whatever penalties are there. Enjoy the RAM.
