Will Microcenter carry the Core i3-2100T?

Why? Just get a regular i3-2100 and downclock it in the BIOS to match i3-2100T. There is nothing special about the T other than the clock/TDP settings.

Can you downclock the GPU also like the T model? Also, do you need a p67 to underclock, or just to overclock? I was looking for a mini-itx H61/H67.

The real world power savings is very minimal, because unless there was a heavy load on the CPU, the two uses about the same amount of power. What differs is when there's a heavier load on the CPU, where the T is capped at a lower speed, thus having a lower TDP. The only time you really want to have the lower TDP is if you are trying to build a system using a really low wattage PSU, like a 60W or so, where the normal 2100 + drives might possibly stress the PSU.

I am running a 120W pico PSU.

I am actually having problems finding a mini-itx board that has good reviews and allows undervolting.

It looks like Asus is the only one that makes mini-itx boards that allow underclocking while not sucking.

And that kind of negates the savings of getting a the non t version.
