If you guys enjoyed Medal of Honour be sure to pick up Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Call of Duty since you'll love both of those games too.

This month's CGW ran a preview article on MOH PA, bottom line is they really liked it. One of the game's main aspects will be a certain degree of open-endedness, unlike COD which is heavily scripted and linear.

I don't mind scripting or linearity. The main reason I'm looking forward to it is because I loved Medal of Honour so much and because it's the first WWII game that's set in the Pacific instead of Europe.

I love the PC version of MOHAA - I can't get into the console version's simply because of the controls (too used to the mouse and keyboard).

Someone mentioned Call of Duty...that's an excellent game! Its fast paced and you have a squad of fellow soldiers with you (and helping). You get to play on the American, British, and Russian sides. I still haven't been able to get passed the first scene in the Russian campaign!!

Another good WWII shooter is Red Orchestra. Its a free mod for UT2K3, and seeing as how UT2K3 can be picked up for $15, its a great deal, too! Check out their website:

Definitely. That had to be one of the best parts of the game. Pretty damn good immersion in that section of the game.

If your talking about the one for the consoles, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun thats out now... it is pretty crappy. My friend has a PS2 and ive played it a bit. The AI is awful, its amazingly bad actually... the level design is uninspired, the graphics are trashier than even the average console game. Frontline is 2x the game it is, my friend hates it compared to Frontline and I tend to agree. I dont like console FPS's much, but Frontline was pretty bearable but the new one... bah dont bother. Just get the new MOHAA expansion or COD or wait for Pacific Assault.

While I wouldnt call MOH lackluster. I do agree that COD is a far superior game.

COD was a good game but I think MOHAA and RTCW were better.

I class MOHAA as a five star, triple-A game. It's absolutely outstanding and the two expansion packs are a very welcome addition to it.
