Seriously, is this the first time you've ever seen a game pumped up by marketing that has fallen short of it's promises? If it is, you must be very young indeed.

Spore was only a few short months ago.

I think it might. It would probably do better on the PC than it did on the PS3. Level design is not why people buy and play consoles. Why couldn't LBP have done as well on the PC as Spore did?

Considering it was the most hyped and publicized game of the year, it was failure. Sony was relying on this being their big system seller and PS3 sales went down this holiday season. So to recoup some of the money invested in the game I could see a PC version of the game being made.

Yes, in a decade when we have a working PS3 emulator for the PC.

Probably more like 1-2 years. An 8-16 core CPU would emulate a PS3 no problem.

Maybe so, but it will take a lot longer then that for someone to program a working emulator without having access to all the specs, etc..

PCSX2 is the only working PS2 emulator for PC and it still doesn't work very well despite being in development for years. The PS3 itself has a much better PS2 emulator that probably wasn't in development for nearly as long, but they had access to all the specs/info of the PS2.

It's going to be 3-4 years before there's a real PS2 emulator. PS3? it's a good 7-8 years off.

At any rate, LBP on PC seems highly unlikely, simply because it would be much, much harder to sell. User created content is a big deal over in console land.
In PC land, it's business as usual. No splash, so why spend the money to port. Especially when it's a console exclusive in a day where exclusives are hard to come by, and the PS3 needs every bit of help it can get.

extremely unlikely. It's a fun-ass game though. It's quite possibly the most fun I've ever had with friends co-op ever in gaming history. It should've been GOTY in every single publication.
