I have an old 486...is there a new 486 ...anyway, I wanted to try Lindows on it. I work with someone who tried installing Lindows just the other day, and he said that it installed fine...but he could not get past the Network screen. He does not have it connected to a network, but the install ( I think it rebooted) insists on network configs. He said he did not see how to bypass Network and continue with the install. He never got to the KDE screen, etc.
I wonder if this is true, as I would like my old 486 to be a standalone system.
