Will light bleed ever end?

Its fairly easy to fix lightbleed with some electrical tape and about 2 hours of patient work... Requires you opening up the monitor ofc.
 
Had bleed in old LCD display laptop. Newer LED display laptop has no apparent bleed.
 
OLED does fix it. Plasma fixed it. CRT didn't have it.

Any transmissive display will always struggle with it while emissive displays will not. Each have their flaws and strengths.
