After finally upgrading my pc (parts are on order) for the first time in years I forgot to check if I should get a bigger psu.

I currently have an Antec 430w which I purchased a year ago because my other one gave out.

It works perfectly fine on my current configuration, which consists of parts all 2+ years old:

Athlon 64 4000
cheap asus board
1gb G.Skill
geforce 7600gt

The parts I have on order are:

Core2 q9400
mid range sli board
xfx GTS 250 (512mb)
4gb G.Skill 1066

I will not be SLI'ing right away and will be running a single card for some time. I also have no intentions of overclocking.

Also, I don't know if this is a factor, but I have a Sound blaster extreme gaming sound card, and about 3-4 usb devices plugged in at all times, and 2 case fans.

Will the old Antec 430w be enough to power my new parts?

If not, what do you suggest?

Wow, I tried that link you gave me and it said recommended psu wattage would be 38w. lol

Anyways, I have the 430w earthwatts antec as well, and seeing as it runs your system fine, I should be fine as well.

Thanks!

Edit: I forgot to hit calculate... (im dumb)
