I'm planning to transplant an old system to a new case. I am looking at this case mostly due to it's great price. I see that the PSU has 17 amps on 2 12V rails. I know this is a shot in the dark, but anyone have any insight on whether this old system will run on that PSU?
AMD Athlon64 2.0GHz
2GB DDR1
ATI X1950XT
1 7200RPM HDD
1 DVD drive
I only ask because I've been running this system on a PCP&C 620W unit with 49A on a single 12V rail, so I've had no problems with power. The main concern is obviously the GPU, I've seen this case and PSU combo recommended for brand new setups running HD4850s and GTS 250s, but I'm not sure at this point whether new GPUs draw more or less power than old ones.
Thanks.
