Will I notice a difference?

I was wondering If I would notice a difference in speed if I switched from SD ram to DDR ram in my ECS K7S5A? I know that with DDR ram prices going through the roof that it probably wouldn't be worth it but I was wondering anyway.
 
If you're doing RAM intensive tasks, ie: heavy photoshop editing, modeling etc.. then you'll gain the boost from the increased bandwidth that's available. However, I think you'd notice some speed increases, such as in 3D apps, which rely heavily on RAM.
