Will I encounter problems with a 400 FSB CPU and a mobo that only supports 333???

I ordered a CPU and got a 400 FSB not knowing that my mobo only supports up to 333. Should I cancel the order immediately or will the CPU adapt? THank you.

You can "underclock" your CPU to 333mhz FSB no problem. And you can actually end up with similar performance because you can then raise the multiplier to bring the speed near where it was. But yes your fine don't worry about it.

True, but in his earlier post he mentions getting an Athlon 3200XP which is not locked as far as i know.
