no one is in town but i'm dying to see this movie... fail or not fail?

edit: went by myself, was the only one there by himself but it doesn't matter. after about 5 minutes i got caught up in the movie and now am in a state of complete wordlessness (?).

I saw it by myself. Going by yourself is not a fail. Asking about going alone on ATOT is a fail.

Lot of people go alone. It's the "I am cooler than you" crowd that says you must bring someone along. Not like you'd be talking much in the theatre anyways.

I saw one of the Star Wars sequels on my own. I went to a matinee.

Only (OK not only) sucky thing about going to a movie by yourself is getting the ticket. I met some friends for a movie once, went up to the counter to get my ticket since they weren't there yet and asked for 1 ticket to blah blah, and then lady said "Just one?" and made me feel like a loser

And yes they did show up so don't say they didn't

The movie is good enough you don't NEED anyone. This is the one movie where my gf didnt say a word to me and had her eyes on the screen the whole time. She didnt even lean in like she usually does with other movies simply because she's been DYING to see Batman and Christian Bale.
