I'd like to buy a GTX 260, but I'm not sure if it will block the sata ports on my motherboard or not. I've looked in my case and at 10.5 inches, the card will be over the SATA ports but I don't know if I will still be able to plug something into them or not. Does anyone have this board that can enlighten me?

I would get the 4870 because it isn't as bulky and although it is long, I should have clearance over my SATA ports, but I'm concerned about heat and all reviews show that card to be a good bit hotter than the 260.

Maybe you could get right-angle SATA cables? I'm thinking as long as you plug them in before installing the graphics card, you should be fine.

Now I see why a lot of motherboards use right-angle SATA ports instead of ones that face straight up. They're not as easy to get to but they stay out of your way.
