I don't care what you say I will always and forever find Will Ferrell to be one of the funniest men walking the planet. Most especially in films where they don't script him, they just let him adlib entire scenes. Old School was amazing, Anchorman was hilarious, Talladega Nights was genius, and his career on SNL was classic. If you agree, post here and show some support, if you don't...well fvck you get a sense of humor lol.

On a side note Surf Ninjas is one of the greatest movies of all time. If you disagree with THIS statement you should burn in hell for all eternity. It came on HBO this past weekend hence my reference to it.

Funny guy. He's pretty much a comedy-only actor, though. He'll be like Jim Carrey, unable to break out into drama. But who cares! 😀
 
I liked his rolls in most of the recent movies such as Anchorman and Wedding Crashers.
I haven't seen the recent one with Nascar since I don't like Nascar that much (Indy cars baby!).
Anchorman was a great movie, well atleast I thought it was. 🙂
Although the main girl actor wasn't really hot so that was dissapointing.

Old School was great inspite of Will Ferrell. Anchorman was horrid. I didn't see Elf. I might catch Talladega Nights on a matinee. His skits on SNL were solidly "Meh".

He's amusing but he cannot carry a movie.
 
Will Ferrel is okay, but not really any sort of comedic genius.

But going totally off-topic (in the off-topic forum, no less) you know who I miss having around? Chris Farley. I still enjoy watching Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, and such.

I was expecting it to get better. The only person taht kept me watching was the guy from 40 year old virgin.

i've seen the Best of Will Ferrell DVD.. and only a few of the skits were legitimately funny... for example: the devil rocking on the guitar skit. not funny at all. not one bit....
 
I didn't like Talledega Nights, just didn't find it to be too funny, i wasn't expecting much either. Anchor-Man and Old School were great. He was actually real good in that Soccer movie too, even though it was supposed to be some dumb kids movie, he made it good. He is one of the funniest guys on the planet, very talented. I look forward to anything he does.
