Will eating Tums allow me to drink more beer without vomiting?

Well? I find myself entered in a case race tonight, and while I have a high tolerance the carbonation kills me ... if I eat Tums will it help?

I know this is a fairly ridiculous question, but hey, I'm in college.

Tums, Pepcid AC, Zantac.. all that stuff prevents you from getting red as fast. Your tolerance level will probably be the same though..

Eat something and take a couple Pepcid's or some other non-chewable, long-lasting antacid.

Or sneak in and shake the beer.

In my experience, tums and rolaids increase the foam and the amount of air in my stomach, so combined with large quantities of beer, the old "foam-vomit" probably wouldn't be far behind.
